Welcome to Aberfoyle Excavations!

Our philosophy is reliability, punctuality and quality.

My Name is Jeremy Smoker. I have been working in the Industry for 15+ years and have extensive experience in all factors of Earthmoving, Civil Contracting and Mining.

Aberfoyle Excavations was originally established in 1983 by my cousin Greg Watson of Aberfoyle Park. Greg is now enjoying his retirement and my family and I have taken ownership of the business since 2021.

The Company remains local and is family owned by myself, my wife Bec and our two boys. We are based in the Adelaide Hills (about 15 minutes from Mount Barker township) and we will continue to service most areas throughout the Adelaide region.

We are fully licensed and offer a range of professional services including general earthworks, excavations, post hole drilling, trenching, cut and fill, rock breaking and various site preparations (for swimming pools, sheds, driveways, playgrounds etc). Hourly hire contracting is also available. Please contact me directly for pricing.

My eldest son and I also have a keen interest in motorbikes and enjoy building bike tracks in rural areas. We love a good challenge and like to make it interesting, the more dirt the better!

Aberfoyle Excavations has been involved in many projects throughout the years including council work, aged care, school playgrounds and rural developments. The size of our equipment allows us to access tight areas around buildings and residential homes.
